I’m happy to announce the general availability of GreenHopper 4.4 (for Jira 4.1). In addition to providing compatibility with the latest release of Jira, this release also includes a handful of new improvements, including:
- Days Remaining gadget – This new gadget shows the number of days left in a given sprint or release (version). Perfect for keeping an eye on one or more projects from your Jira dashboard.
- Issue links – Jump directly from an issue to the Planning Board or Task Board using the actions in new operations bar in Jira 4.1. The issue will be highlighted to let you know exactly where on the board it is.
- Marker enhancements – You can now enable markers from the Statistics box and simply drag ‘n drop them onto any version to move all issue above the marker. Planning has never been easier!

GreenHopper-Jira Compatibility
GreenHopper 4.4 was developed specifically to integrate with many of the UI improvements in Jira 4.1. For this reason, you will need to upgrade to Jira 4.1 first, before you upgrade to GreenHopper 4.4.
