Codegeist Entry of the Weekend: Confluence InPlace Editor

The team at StiltSoft got busy this weekend, submitting a Codegeist entry that provides a very highly voted Confluence feature, Sectional Editing.

The plugin is called the Confluence InPlace Editor, or CIPE for short. CIPE users can temporarily disable CIPE when printing or screen capturing, and CIPE is enabled on a per-space basis. Good work Maxim and team!

Codegeist: Two Developer Previews and $45k in Cash Prizes

We’re introduced two new developer previews along with Codegeist, Speakeasy Extensions and ActiveObjects. Speakeasy is a new super easy way to extend Atlassian products. Extensions are built entirely client-side, in HTML, Javascript, CSS, etc., and they’re enabled on a per-user basis. ActiveObjects is an ORM that ultimately makes plugin data access and storage significantly faster and more efficient. Each of these new technologies have an associated prize category. Take a look:
